I saw a car the other day that’s body wasn’t painted, the body had been brought down to metal and the heated to change colors (that purple, green, blue, etc color that seems to flow together), then sprayed with clear coat.

How do people get the metal to change colors, at what temperature does it change? I’d probably be doing a motorcycle fender.

Below is a website with a list of colors and their temperature for steel. You’ll have to take those numbers as a rough guide though because it’s unlikely that you have just steel. It’s more likely to be an alloy and that would change the characteristics.

My school is holding a disco and I want to know how to approach someone and ask them to dance without looking silly if I get rejected.

Please help, any suggestions?

It’s a techno sounding song and it’s not played by the band or anything, but a lot of the people at the games know it. It goes "oooooooooooooooooooooooh, oooooooooooooooooooooh oh oh, oh oh, oh oh". That’s the best I can do for lyrics, but do any gator fans out there know the answer?
It’s not the Seminole song – it’s played at other games too. It’s usually played 10-15 minutes before kickoff at the Swamp.

most metals will start to change colour at 260 Degrees centigrade with a pale straw first appearing. the colours deepen through gold to blue around 400 (depending on metal) if you get to red you will have gone past any colouring effect and at yellow there is a distinct risk of sudden melting of metalwork. needless to say chemicals Can be added to the surface of the metal to affect colour changes more readily. Over heating of metal will affect it structural strenght too and should not be undertaken without knowing what you are about.

It was in the most recent auditions. In las vegas and it sounded like a choir of girls of something and it was kind off techno sounding. It is slow and ya.

My girlfriend heard a Tupac (maybe, maybe not) song on Radio 1 in Jo Whiley’s show (currently hosted by Sara Cox) today and said it sounded like Electronica. What songs could it be?

Actually, Keyshia Cole has a song with Tupac that’s pretty recent. As for the electronica, it might have been a DJ remix…and it might have been a House mix since House seems to be making some weird come back. Have you tried looking on the station’s website and looking at their playlist?
